“Allison’s ability to speak to the very real experience family caregivers are facing in a positive yet honest way has cultivated a space where caregivers not only feel seen and recognized, but where they are able to access and unlock new resources to help them navigate the ever-changing caregiver journey.”

PARTNERING WITH ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT CAREGIVERS

The mission of The Negative Space is to help caregivers feel seen, honored, and supported. Most organizations are patient-centered and rightly so, but at almost every appointment and hospitalization you will find the second patient: the caregiver. Caregivers are also typically the ones who read the newsletters, search the websites, attend the conventions, and join the groups on social media, and yet, they don’t often see or hear acknowledgement of their role or receive supports and services. Want your organization to be a leader in caregiver support? Contact me today.

“I've had the privilege of learning so much from Allison, and her passion has influenced me to include caregiving support in the programs we offer. She is a guiding light and a wealth of knowledge for caregivers everywhere.”

Community Engagement Coordinator at the Masonic Cancer Center
